We are the champions!
GymStars, U.S.A. is proud to announce that the Lima All Star Rebels Junior squad recently won the Cheer of America Open National competition in Columbus.  With over 6,000 participants competing in the event, the Rebels brought home the national champion trophy.  All four Rebels squads placed in the competition.  Congratulations, Rebels!

Mayor Berger to Recognize Rebels
Lima Mayor Dave Berger will be coming to GymStars to recognize the 11-year dedication the Rebels have shown in their proud representation of Lima and the surrounding area.  Call for details.
Hunter Lucas and Joey Ward received national champion honors at Wrestling USA's Dominator competition in Illinois bringing another award to GymStars' Sting wrestlers.  Many of the competitors in the event were state champions.  Congratulations, Sting!

Xavier University Studies Gymnasts' Balance

The department of Sports Studies at Xavier University in Cincinnati recently studied "dynamic balance" among athletes and non-athletes.  Comparing high-level gymnasts, swimmers and soccer players to non-athletes, gymnasts were found to have superior balance.

Bath High School cheerleaders also won national championships recently in high school squad competition.  The Bath Cheerleaders workout diligently at GymStars honing their skills.  Coach Suzy is also a coach at GymStars.  Congratulations, Bath!
